Employee, spouse, children (up to 25 years), parents / in-laws (Up to 85 years) can be enrolled under the policy.
Effective June 1, 2018, Family Floater policy is introduced with a coverage of INR 500,000. This means each family unit (self, spouse & two children) will be covered for INR 500,000 towards hospitalization insurance.
Employee has an option to cover 3rd/ 4th child to the family floater policy of INR 500,000, premium for which will be borne by the employee.
Additionally, Employee has an option to take a floater policy of INR 300,000 for parents i.e. single or 2 parents (immediate parents/ in-laws) again premium for which will be borne by the employee.
Only two dependent parents / in-laws can be enrolled. One Parent and one In-Law are not permitted
In case your Parents / In-Laws are already enrolled, they cannot be removed unless they have completed 3 full years of coverage under the policy.
If you are enrolling your Parents / In-Laws for the first time, they cannot be changed or deleted for the next 3 years expect in case of death.
Room rent restricted to single standard AC room or Maximum up to INR 7,000/- per day whichever is lower. In case insured opted the higher category room cost of incremental charges on the entire bill will be borne by employee.
There is no restriction on ICU / ICCU.
Mid-term addition of child / spouse will be permitted only in case of new born / newly married spouse subject to intimation within 30 days from the date of birth / marriage. Any other mid-term addition will not be permitted.
Post closure of window period dependents can’t be added / deleted
The portal will close on 31st May 2018. You are requested to visit the portal and update the dependents details before the closure date. In case of no response by –31st May 2018, the policy will be renewed based on the existing nominations. You will not be able to change details after 31st May 2018 under any circumstances.
